Why this exists

A prop firm is a simple deal. Someone puts up the money, someone else trades it, and they share what is made.

Until now only the firm could be the one with the money.

Backroll opens both seats. The rules sit in a program on Solana, so neither side has to trust the other.

Fund the vault

One loop, every trade.

The same four steps each time, enforced by the program, not by a person.

  1. Step 1

    Investors fund the vault

USDC goes in, brUSDC shares come out. The share price rises as traders settle profits.

  2. Step 2

    Traders post collateral

Collateral sets how much a trader can borrow, and it is the first money at risk.

  3. Step 3

    Trades borrow from the vault

Each buy borrows what it needs. Only approved tokens, sized to the pool's liquidity.

  4. Step 4

    Profit is split on settlement

The loan is repaid first. What is left is shared between trader, vault and platform.

Where the profit goes

One split, written into the program.

Paid out of realized profit, each time a trader settles.

Questions

Asked often.

All questions ↗
Is this a prop firm challenge?

No. There is no evaluation to pass. You post collateral, you get a borrowing limit, and you trade.

What happens when a trader loses money?

Their own collateral absorbs the loss first. Only past it does the vault take any, and then the share price falls.

What can I trade?

Only assets on the approved list. It is maintained from measured pool depth and risk, and anything removed can still be sold.

Can I withdraw from the vault whenever I want?

You can request a withdrawal at any time. It is filled in the order requests were made, as cash returns to the vault.

Who holds my money?

The program does, on chain. Deposits, collateral and the vault are all program accounts; nothing is held by a company account.

Trade it, or fund it.
